STW organized an event to find a compatible stem cells donor for a patient suffering from multiple myeloma (a blood cancer). Mai Duong, the co-founder and cancer survivor, shared her story and explained the difficulties of finding compatible donors - especially amongst underrepresented ethnicities. Two of our MSBDA team members, Daham and Gabriela, attended and assisted the STW team in getting people swabbed. Both of them got swabbed too!
